This is a non-profit event organised by the local community for the community to enjoy and celebrate Italian Bedford…
In September 2009, Bedford hosted its first Bedford Italian Festival to celebrate the heritage of Bedford Italia, the sacrifices & hardships of the first and second generation Italian immigrants and to stage a celebration for the wider community. Without the generosity of local Italian businesses and their sponsorship and adverts in the coveted festival information booklet, we would not have been able to stage a successful festival. With that success we are now planning the 2nd Bedford Italian Festival to be held on Sunday 12th June 2011.
Firstly we thank all the businesses that helped us raise the monies back in 2009, without you/them we could not have done it!
THE BOOKLET HAS NOW GONE TO PRINT AND THEREFORE NO MORE ADVERTISING OPPORTUNITIES ARE AVAILABLE WITHIN IT - THANK YOU TO EVERYBODY THAT HAS SUPPORTED THE BOOKLET.
2500 OF THESE WILL BE DISTRIBUTED TO SPONSORS INITIALLY FROM 1ST JUNE 2012 FOR GENERAL DISTRIBUTION.
THE REMAINING 2500 BOOKLETS WILL BE DISTRIBUTED BY SUE RYDER CARE VOLUNTEERS ON SUNDAY 12TH JUNE FOR A MINIMUM £1 DONATION PER BOOKLET - give generously thank you!
